Two shrines.
One journey.
A reset that stays with you.
The Do Dham Yatra brings together Kedarnath Temple and Badrinath Temple, the sacred abodes of Lord Shiva and Lord Vishnu, set high in the Garhwal Himalayas of Uttarakhand.
This is not a casual holiday.
It’s a journey that asks for patience, belief, and humility, and gives back clarity, stillness, and strength.

Standing near the source of the Mandakini River at 3,584 meters (11,758 ft), Kedarnath is one of the most powerful spiritual sites in India. Surrounded by snow-covered peaks and vast alpine landscapes, the air here carries an intensity that silences the mind.
As one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva and the most important shrine among the Panch Kedars, Kedarnath is open only between April and November, making every visit rare and meaningful.
Reaching Kedarnath is challenging – and that’s the point.
The climb, the cold, the silence – all lead to surrender.
Set amidst majestic Himalayan peaks, Badrinath Dham is dedicated to Lord Vishnu, the preserver of the universe. Believed to have been established in the 9th century by Adi Shankaracharya, the temple has guided seekers for over a thousand years.
Inside the sanctum rests the black stone idol of Lord Badrinath, radiating calm, balance, and reassurance. Pilgrims visit during the brief summer season, braving rugged mountain terrain to seek peace, direction, and blessings.
Where Kedarnath strips you down, Badrinath steadies you.
IMPORTANT NOTE – Please understand that this trip is super budget-friendly, and the arrangements made are basic, suitable for people who want to cover Kedarnath and Badrinath on a budget.
If you are expecting luxury at this price, then it’s a joke! The nature of this event itself is for people who want to travel inexpensively. HTC is brutally honest about what we provide and what we won’t, and we won’t encourage drama episodes in case darshan is affected due to natural calamities or if darshan is closed by authorities.
If any dham is closed by Government, due to weather conditions, road blocks, landslides, overcrowded then we will cover Chopta & Tungnath temple(World’s highest shiva temple).
FOOD – If our schedule is delayed by traffic or the group’s speed, HTC may not be able to provide the promised meal in the following situations:
For example, if we are supposed to arrive by 10 PM but don’t get there until mid night because of traffic or any unavoidable conditions, we’ll need to eat on the way. In this case, the cost of the food will be your own responsibility since HTC only provides dinner at the accommodation.

Today is Darshan day.
Please note: Bathing facilities are NOT available at the Kedarnath stay. Be prepared accordingly.
04:00 AM – Start Towards Gaurikund
We begin early due to heavy crowd movement on this route.
Please note that on busy days, there can be long waiting hours for Jeep services to Gaurikund. In some cases, it may take 2–3 hours just to reach the trek starting point.
Participants opting for Mule / Doli services will need to manage their movement independently and reach the Kedarnath stay on their own, as the HTC team will be accompanying the group trekking on foot.
05:00 – 06:00 AM – Reach Gaurikund
From Gaurikund, we begin the 16 km trek to Kedarnath Temple.
The trek is gradual but long. Pace will be steady, with breaks as required. Weather, crowd movement, and individual fitness can affect timings.
Late Afternoon – Reach Kedarnath Temple
Darshan is strictly based on the current token system implemented by the authorities.
Darshan timing depends entirely on token availability, crowd flow, and temple regulations on that day.
HTC has no control over darshan slots or queue movement.
Once darshan is completed (as per token allotment), we proceed to the stay and have dinner.
Stay at Kedarnath:

This stay is designed strictly for rest and recovery, not comfort.
Trek & Travel Distance:

This day requires physical endurance, patience, and mental preparedness.
HTC’s role is to guide, support, and move the group safely under real Himalayan conditions.
The day begins with refreshing mountain air and golden Himalayan peaks, as early sun rays light up the surroundings at Kedarnath.
After breakfast, we begin the descent towards Gaurikund. This is a long downhill trek and will be covered at a steady pace.
By evening, we reach Sonprayag. Due to crowd movement and local traffic regulations, local jeep services from Sonprayag to Sitapur may not be available. As a result, we will walk until we reach the stay at Sitapur.

By evening, we reach Badrinath and proceed to the parking area. From here, we walk towards the temple complex for Darshan at Badrinath Temple.
Please note: Badrinath Temple remains open only for about 6 months in a year, and due to limited darshan windows, heavy crowds are common. Darshan waiting time can range anywhere between 3 to 5 hours or more, depending on crowd flow and temple regulations. HTC has no control over darshan timing.
After completing Darshan, we proceed to the stay.
STAY:
• Basic hotel accommodation
• 3/4 sharing rooms

• Bathing facility available
