An Unforgettable Day of Trails, Temples & Tranquility

🕛 12:00 AM – Departure Begins
Your journey starts just past midnight as we board our vehicle and set off for the base of Harischandragad. Expect a calm and cozy ride with a sky full of stars and a heart full of anticipation.

🌄 5:00 AM – Arrival at Base & Quick Fresh-Up
We arrive at the base village in the early morning mist. A quick freshen-up and we lace up our shoes — it’s time to hit the mystical trail of Harischandragad.

🙏 11:00 AM – Temple Time & Nature Dips
After an enriching hike through the lush monsoon-drenched forest, we reach the ancient Harischandragad temple. Take a moment. Breathe. Capture a few divine frames — and for the brave, a quick refreshing dip near the sacred pond.

☕ 12:30 PM – Lunch Break (Carbs Incoming)
Fuel up with some authentic Maharashtrian Poha OR Maggie , served hot, paired with cutting chai that tastes like heaven in the hills. Lunch on personal expense

🥾 1:30 PM – The Descent Begins
Time to burn those carbs and hike back! Descending through the scenic trail, filled with greenery, hidden waterfalls, and those iconic monsoon vibes.

🏠 6:00 PM – Back to Base Village
We reach back by evening. Hearts full, phones full (of memories), and legs just tired enough to feel proud.

Reach Base Village… Stay in villagers house..

At our base village, we’ll be staying in villagers’ homes … a humble yet warm experience where the locals cook fresh, hot Maharashtrian meals for us. It’s hygienic and made with care. But hey, if you’re particular about flavors, feel free to carry your favorite pickle or side dish from home ..no judgments.

Now coming to the stay … it’s a remote village. This isn’t about luxury; it’s about necessity. It’s a place to rest, recharge, and be ready for the trek. And honestly, when compared with other options, what HTC provides is hands down the best in terms of hospitality and required comfort.

We don’t encourage unnecessary drama about stay quality here .. it’s a monsoon trek!

21:30 – Have Dinner & Sleep 

Expect the Unexpected – It’s Monsoon, Baby!

⏰ 4:00 AM – Rise & Refuel
An early morning wake-up call with hot breakfast to kickstart the day. Energy up, bags packed — because today is all about chasing waterfalls!

🚐 6:00 AM – Arrival at Kalu Base & Trek Begins
We head straight to the Kalu Falls trail. This monsoon marvel is a true beast of the Sahyadris — tall, wild, and roaring. The trail is raw, thrilling, and everything an adventurer dreams of.

⚠️ Note: Views are subject to monsoon mood swings! If it’s foggy, it’s foggy — deal with it. We’re trek leaders, not weather gods. So, no cribbing over clouds, okay? 😅

📌 Important Advisory:
Kalu Falls plays hard to get sometimes.
If the rains go wild, the base trail might be closed. But chill… we’re not stopping the adventure.
We’ll switch to another stunning waterfall …depending on how the weather behaves that day.
So, don’t come for just the views. Come for the vibe, the chaos, the story.
Because this is monsoon trekking…not a Netflix documentary. 😎🌧️

🍱 1:00 PM – Lunch Break
Once we wrap up the trail — whether from top or bottom — we stop for a fulfilling lunch. After all, nothing builds hunger like trekking in the rain!

🚗 1:30 PM – Off to Lonavala – VIBE SHIFT 
We begin the drive to Lonavala. And trust us ….this isn’t just a transfer. This is THE monsoon ride. Waterfalls on the sides, clouds in your window, and lush valleys all around.

🏡 6:30 PM – Check-in at Lonavala Stay
We reach our next HTC Experience Stay. Expect warm hospitality, tasty food, and an infinity pool (if the monsoon gods allow).

🌌 7:00 PM – Unwind at Base
Evening vibes set in. Sit back, chill, and soak in the monsoon madness you just lived through.

Good morning, trekker! It’s time for a fresh start. Wake up to the cool mountain air, do a quick freshen-up, and enjoy a warm breakfast. The last day — but still packed with wonders.

🕗 8:00 AM – Off to Visapur Fort & Bhaja Caves
We head to the mighty Visapur Fort, one of the most iconic monsoon forts in the Sahyadris. Expect lush green trails, misty steps, and panoramic views (if the fog’s in the mood!).
Also explore the ancient Bhaja Caves — carved centuries ago and still standing like legends.
Oh, and yes — we know you’ll want it — so there’s time for a chai–poha break too! 😉

🍛 2:00 PM – Lunch & Chikki Gikki Time!
Post the fort & cave exploration, we begin our drive toward Pune.
We’ll make a quick pit stop for some Lonavala-style chikki–gikki shopping — stock up on sweet souvenirs before heading home.

🚌 7:00 PM – Sleeper Bus Boarding
It’s time to say goodbye to the Sahyadris… but not without a heart full of stories, laughter, and muddy shoes! Board your sleeper bus and settle in.

😴 8:00 PM – Sleep or Chat. Your Call.
You can doze off dreaming of waterfalls, forts, and fog… or stay up and talk about your favorite moments with your new trail tribe.
Either way — you lived the monsoon magic.

Please understand …HTC does not have control over the quality of the return sleeper bus, as these are third-party bookings made based on available ratings and the budget of the trip.
If you have specific preferences regarding travel comfort or bus type, you are absolutely free to book your own return bus from Pune (after 8 PM).
Our usual drop point is Hadapsar, Pune.
We focus on giving you the best on-ground experience … the ride home is yours to customize if needed. 💼

🚍 Day 4 – Arrival at Hyderabad

🕘 9:00 AM – Reach Hyderabad (Tentatively)
We usually reach Hyderabad by 9:00 AM, but hey ….it’s India.
Traffic, tea breaks, and vehicle speed can play spoilsport. Sometimes we arrive early, sometimes a bit late.

So, don’t plan a 10 AM Zoom call, okay? 😉
Just carry the memories, the tan lines, and the muddy shoes….and we promise, this trip will stay with you long after you step off that bus.
