The team will meet in Srinagar. Following a concise introduction led by your trek leader, providing comprehensive details about the trekking adventure, we will commence our journey from Srinagar towards Sonamarg. By evening Reach Base Village

1. Departure from Sonamarg: After an early morning breakfast, our journey begins towards Nichnai, our designated campsite for the day.

2. Scenic Trail: En route, the trail offers a glimpse of Kashmir’s natural splendor, with maple and pine trees lining the path. As we ascend, the picturesque Sonamarg Valley unfolds before us, with cascading streams and verdant meadows of Shekdur. The landscape, adorned with small peaks and Bhoj trees, invites moments of awe and appreciation for nature’s wonders.

3. Arrival at Nichnai Campsite: Following the tranquil flow of the Nichnai stream, we arrive at our campsite. Here, we’ll enjoy dinner and settle in for the night, surrounded by the serene beauty of our surroundings.

1. Departure to Vishansar Lake: Following breakfast, our journey takes us towards the picturesque Vishansar Lake, a site of cultural significance for Kashmiri pandits, surrounded by alpine forests and gorges adorned with small glaciers.

2. Nichnai Pass: The Nichnai Pass, nestled behind twin peaks near our campsite, offers a breathtaking view of the landscape. As we ascend through the meadows, the pass gradually reveals itself, granting a stunning vista of the Sonamarg Valley.

3. Descent and Scenic Views: After soaking in the splendor of the pass, our descent treats us to panoramic views of flowery meadows, rivers, and a majestic waterfall cascading from a mountain cliff. Along the way, a new stream comes into view, leading us to our campsite.

4. Campsite Setup: Arriving at the campsite, we’ll set up camp in an open space with the majestic Vishansar Lake as our backdrop, providing a serene atmosphere to unwind and enjoy nature’s beauty.

5. Leisure Time: The remainder of the day is yours to enjoy leisurely activities amidst the stunning surroundings. Whether it’s exploring the area, engaging in outdoor games, or simply relaxing, there’s ample opportunity for enjoyment.

6. Dinner and Overnight Stay: As evening falls, dinner will be served, followed by a peaceful overnight stay in the campsite, surrounded by the tranquility of Vishansar Lake and its scenic environs.

1. Morning Departure: Following morning tea and breakfast, our journey resumes towards our next destination.

2. Scenic Beauty of Kishansar Lake: Situated approximately 500ft above Vishansar Lake, Kishansar Lake captivates with its breathtaking blend of verdant meadows and shimmering blue waters, creating a mesmerizing spectacle.

3. Encounter with Mythology at Yamsar Lake: Continuing our trek, we encounter the mystical Yamsar Lake, steeped in Hindu mythology associated with the deity Yama, the god of death. The serene waters amidst snow-capped cliffs offer a tranquil pause along our route.

4. Arrival at Gadsar Lake: As we progress, the majestic Gadsar Lake unfolds before us, nestled at the base of snow-covered cliffs. After soaking in the beauty of this pristine lake, we proceed further to set up our campsite for the night, where dinner awaits followed by an overnight stay amidst nature’s embrace.

1. Morning Departure: Following a refreshing morning routine of tea and breakfast, we set out from our current campsite towards our next destination, the picturesque Satsar camp.

2. Traverse Through Scenic Landscapes: Our journey takes us through lush green forests, with rivers winding below and valleys stretching into the distance, providing a picturesque backdrop to our trek.

3. Encounter with Majestic Mountains: As we continue, majestic mountains come into view, framing our path towards the ridge that marks the entrance to Satsar. Beyond this ridge lies not only the Satsar camp but also the 3rd line of defense from the Line of Control (LOC) and the Satsar Army camp.

4. Campsite Setup: After traversing this terrain, we set up our campsite a short distance away, where we can bask in the tranquility and serenity of the surroundings.

5. Evening Repose: The day concludes with a hearty dinner enjoyed amidst the beauty of nature, followed by a restful overnight stay in our camps, ready to embrace the adventures of the following day.

1. Morning Morning : Following breakfast, we embark on our trekking expedition, navigating through a trail characterized by both ascents and descents, promising a journey filled with adventure.

2. Exploration of Natural Wonders: The trail unfolds with numerous surprises, presenting us with countless ridges and unnamed lakes along the way. After traversing through this diverse landscape, we arrive at the grandeur of Gangabal Lake, accompanied by the serene presence of Nundkol Lake nestled at the foot of the majestic Harmukh peak, adorned by the looming Harmukh glacier.

3. Campsite at Nundkol: Our journey culminates as we reach Nundkol, where we set up our campsite for the night, surrounded by the awe-inspiring beauty of the landscape. Dinner awaits, followed by a peaceful night’s rest under the starlit sky.

1. Descent from Gangabal: After breakfast, our descent from the Gangabal campsite begins, offering views of lush green canopies lining the trail as we gradually make our way down.

2. Transition to Civilization: As we descend further, the landscape transforms, with meadows giving way to clusters of wooden huts, indicating the presence of civilization along the route.

3. Arrival at Naranag: At approximately 8500 feet, the quaint village of Naranag comes into view, signaling our approach to Naranag road. Here, we transition from trekking to driving as we prepare to journey back to Srinagar.

4. Return to Srinagar: Upon reaching Srinagar, estimated between 6:30 to 7:30 PM, the group will disband, marking the conclusion of our memorable trekking expedition.

Given the unpredictable nature of the weather, particularly in the snow-capped mountains, we have made provisions to add an extra day to our itinerary. This additional day serves as a precautionary measure to accommodate any unforeseen circumstances that may arise due to inclement weather conditions.

Should our trip extend to this additional day due to weather-related delays or challenges, an extra charge of 2400 INR per person will be collected. This fee is intended to cover any additional expenses incurred during the extended duration of the trip, including accommodation, meals, and logistical arrangements.

By incorporating this contingency plan and associated fee, we aim to ensure the safety, comfort, and smooth execution of our expedition, despite the unpredictable nature of the environment we’ll be traversing. This approach allows us to effectively manage any unexpected situations that may arise, while prioritizing the well-being and satisfaction of all participants throughout the journey.
