There is no first timer or experienced trekker,If you have “I CAN DO IT ATTITUDE” Trust us everything else won’t going to bother you at all.
Rajgad Fort (near Pune, India) is one of the most grand forts of the Sahaydris. It was Shivaji Maharaj’s capital for 26 years. This fort is a must visit in any ones trekking/adventure list. One has to stay in the padmavati temple which can house 50 people. Water tanks provide water all over the year.
Torna fort was captured by Shivaji Maharaj when he was just 16 years of age and was renamed as Prachandgad, which literally means a huge fort. Torna is located about 50 kms from Pune in the south-west direction near the village of Velhe. The fort stands 4604 feet high and is regarded as the tallest fort in the Pune region and second tallest in the Sahyadri region.
LEAVE TO BASE CITY BY BUS AT 9 PM
4-00 AM– Reach base city and proceed to Rajgad Base
8-00 AM– breakfast and proceed
We’ll freshen up at the breakfast point…just basic fresh-up (nature calls only). If you’re particular about taking a bath before the trek, this might not be the right event for you.
9-00 AM – Reach Rajgad base & A Mandatory Briefing will be done by our Trek Leader to ensure event go smoothly and safely!
9-30 AM – The Hike towards Rajgad fort starts!.. Remember this is a group trek we will go as a group based on average group speed!…We wont leave anyone behind and we wont allow anyone to go ahead of organiser!…This ensures Safety of our group!..
12-00 PM – Reach Fort Top and few glimpses followed by
1PM – Hike time ..Start to Torna through the legendary Rajgad Torna Trail
6PM – Reach Mid point and move to stay ..
Today We completed half of rajgad torna legendary trail ..Remaining Half next day we will complete…
Distance we Trek – 10 KM
Food – will be prepared by local villagers (Typical Maharashtra Style)
STAY TYPE – TYPICAL VILLAGE HOMESTAY
Our homestay is typical village house! Beds wont be available! All of us has to sleep on floor!. .Bedsheets will be provided! Couple of washrooms available. as this is offbeat event Please understand that Stay is necessity not Luxury!
5AM – Wake up call… and complete breakfast…
6-00AM – Trek starts from where we stopped yesterday ..Second Half of Rajgad Torna Trail
Our Mesmerizing Hike towards Torna starts!
11-00 AM – Reach Torna Fort and few clicks followed by
1-00 PM – Trek Resumes to Torna base village Velhe
5-00 PM – Reach Velhe and move to base city by our private vehicle
8-00 PM – Dinner time followed by a Board bus to HYD
10-00 PM : Board bus to HYD
Distance we Trek – 14 KM
Around 10 AM – Reach HYD

TICKETS BOOKING CLAUSE :
Book your slots before 45 days to the event commencing date to get a chance to travel by sleeping Berth. Most of the time we do have availability to the sleeping berths but we Often tend to travel in RAC because of the demand in Indian Railways. Please Check with the Organiser of the event OR dial the number mentioned in this description to know the status.
THINGS TO REMEMBER :
● Alcohol consumption/ smoking tobacco/ weed is strictly prohibited during entire event!
● Please do not litter any plastic (biscuit pack covers, candy wrappers, etc.). We commit to keeping our events pollute free.
● The organizer has a right to cancel the participant slot.
● Please do not cause delay and cause inconvenience for others and impact the schedule.
● Below 18 must take the consent of the parents to participate.
● Participants will be notified prior to when the itinerary is modified/ event get canceled due to any unforeseen circumstances.
● If there is an unexpected change in weather during the event, the organizer has the right to withdraw/ retreat.
● Participants should coordinate, disciplined and align together as a team during the event.
● Please do not expect luxury facilities and appreciate being cooperative with fellow Participants
● Though we assure safety as a top priority, Event Organizers are not responsible for any severe injuries or fatal events.
● No refund will be provided if the participant doesn’t show up on the day of the event.
