𝐀𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 Saleshwaram Lingayya Swamy Temple:

The Saleshwaram Lingamayya Swamy Temple is a historic Hindu shrine nestled within the dense Nallamala Forest, approximately 60 kilometers from Srisailam in Andhra Pradesh, India.

Dedicated to Lord Shiva, this ancient temple is renowned for its natural Lingam, believed to have formed from Lord Shiva’s tears. Established around the 6th or 7th century AD, the temple’s significance is highlighted in ancient Hindu texts like the Sri Parvatha Purana. It is situated within a cave adjacent to a wedge-shaped waterfall, offering a serene and picturesque setting for devotees and nature enthusiasts alike.

ITINERARY:

🚗 3:00 AM – Departure from Hyderabad

Assemble at the designated meeting point.
Start our journey towards Saleshwaram in a AC private vehicle.

🍽️ 7:00 AM – Breakfast Break

Enjoy a fulfilling breakfast to fuel up for the day’s trek.
Resume the journey towards the Saleshwaram trek base point.

🏞️ 9:00 AM – Arrival at Base Point & Trek Start

Reach the Saleshwaram trek starting point and get ready for the adventure.
A brief introduction to the trek route, safety guidelines, and forest regulations.
Begin the 4-6 km trek through the dense Nallamala Forest, crossing rocky paths, streams.

🙏 12:00 PM – Darshan at Saleshwaram Lingayya Swamy Temple

Arrive at the Saleshwaram Cave Temple.
Offer prayers and experience the divine aura of Lord Shiva’s Lingam inside the naturally formed cave.

🍴 1:30 PM – Lunch Break (Packed Lunch)

Rest and have lunch.
Take some time to relax before starting the return trek.

🚶‍♂️ 2:00 PM – Begin the Trek Back to Base

Start our descent back through the same rugged forest trail.

🏁 5:00 PM – Complete the Trek & Reach the Base Point

Arrive at the base point, marking the successful completion of the trek.
Depart to Hyderabad in our AC private vehicle.

☕ 6:00 PM – Refreshment Break

Stop at a roadside tea/snack point for refreshments.

🚗 10:00 PM – Arrival in Hyderabad

Arrive back in Hyderabad with hearts full of unforgettable memories, divine vibes, and the blessings of Lingamayya Swamy from the sacred trek.
Drop-off will be at the designated location. As we conclude this beautiful journey together, we carry back not just photos – but experiences, friendships, and spiritual strength that will stay with us forever….Until the next adventure… 🙏✨

✅ Wear comfortable trekking shoes/Sports shoes with good grip.

The trek distance and timings mentioned above are based on previous conditions and may vary depending on the current situation.
As the temple is open only for three days a year, expect heavy crowds and possible delays.
Traffic congestion at the base point is common due to the high influx of devotees, which may impact trekking time and darshan schedules.
The timings mentioned here are for reference purposes only and are subject to change based on real-time conditions, such as traffic, overcrowding, and Forest Department management decisions.
