IMPORTANT – LONG WEEKEND NOTICE
This is the busiest travel weekends of the year. Due to heavy traffic and possible local restrictions, there may be changes in the schedule or delays at some locations. Please be mentally prepared and trust the team to handle situations as they arise.
This is an experience-based trip, not a luxury tour. The focus is on shared memories, raw nature, and meaningful travel — not on premium stays or comfort tourism.
⚠️ Strict No-Smoking & No-Alcohol Policy
This trip strictly prohibits alcohol and smoking. Alcohol impairs judgment and compromises group safety, especially in outdoor and trekking environments. Discussions or violations around this will not be entertained.
Anyone found consuming alcohol will be removed from the trip immediately, without exception. Our top priority is the safety, comfort, and dignity of all participants — especially women travelers.
If alcohol consumption is a priority for you, HTC may not be the right platform for your travel preferences.

Our journey to God’s Own Country begins early…. We board the 3rd AC sleeper train from Hyderabad at 6:00 AM, kicking off the trip with excitement and sleepy smiles.
As the train glides through scenic routes, the vibe slowly shifts — conversations begin, chai cups clink, and the travel gang starts bonding. By the next day, Kerala will be calling, and we’ll be ready for the magic.
Get ready to explore God’s Own Country — it’s time to hit the roads.
We arrive at our base city and hop into our private vehicle. Our first stop is Kochi Airport at 6:00 AM, where we pick up the rest of our travel gang flying in.
After a hearty breakfast and quick fresh-up, it’s time to meet your Trip Captain and fellow batchmates, the tribe for the next few days.
Our first destination is a blockbuster: Athirappilly Falls, Kerala’s tallest waterfall and a favorite shooting spot for many iconic films. Standing 80 meters tall, it’s a majestic sight that sets the tone for the trip. Don’t forget your Insta poses.
From there, we begin our scenic drive to Munnar. Along the way, we’ll stop at the charming Cheeyappara Falls and Valara Falls — perfect pitstops to stretch, refresh, and soak in monsoon beauty.
By nightfall, we reach the cool, misty hills of Munnar. After check-in, take a relaxed stroll through the local streets, followed by a wholesome dinner.
🌌 Stay Type: Basic Homestay

Rise and shine 🌞
Wake-up call at 7:00 AM – freshen up and enjoy a delicious breakfast surrounded by Munnar’s crisp mountain air.
First up, a shot of adrenaline
We head for an optional zipline adventure — glide across a scenic valley with breathtaking views below. It’s a short but thrilling ride you won’t forget. (Zipline at personal cost)
Next, we explore Munnar’s legacy — a visit to the local tea factory. Discover how your favorite brew is made, from leaf to cup. For tea lovers, this is pure heaven.
After lunch, it’s time for some laid-back beauty as we head to Mattupetty Dam or Ayinarankal Dam. Whether you’re soaking in the view or opting for boating (at personal cost), the calm water and misty hills make it a picture-perfect spot.
By evening, we return to our stay for dinner and some well-earned rest.

Rise early — the mountains are calling
Wake-up Call:
🕓 4:00 AM – if we’re heading to Kolukkumalai Peak for sunrise
🕔 5:00 AM – if the plan shifts to trek due to weather
If weather permits, we head to the Kolukkumalai Peak, the highest tea plantation in the world, for a jaw-dropping sunrise. Even if monsoon clouds hide the sun, the jeep ride through misty tea estates is an experience in itself! 🌄
(To & Fro Jeep Ride – ₹550 per person at personal cost)
If the peak is closed due to heavy rains, we’ll do an easy 6 km trek near Kolukkumalai. The trail is raw, scenic, and offers beautiful valley views.
(Trek Guide charges – ₹300 per person at personal cost)
After soaking in the mountain vibes, we return to the stay, freshen up, and begin one of the most scenic road journeys in Kerala — the drive to Thekkady. Curvy forest roads, misty hills, and lush greenery will keep your eyes glued to the windows.
Reach Thekkady by noon and break for lunch.
Post-lunch, we visit a Spice Garden — walk through the lush plantations and understand the secrets behind Kerala’s famous spices and coffee. It’s a hands-on experience that connects you with the roots of Kerala’s agriculture.
As the day winds down, we witness the best of Kerala’s culture — a captivating Kathakali dance show followed by the fierce martial art Kalaripayattu performance. 🎭🥋
Wrap up the day with dinner and rest at our Thekkady stay.
🌌 Stay Type: Basic Homestay or Guesthouse with separate rooms for men and women
Start your final day with an early wake-up and freshen up for a day full of nature and culture.
We begin with an optional Jeep Safari to the Periyar View Point, a ride through the heart of the forest where, if lucky, you might spot spotted deer, elephants, and even the elusive tiger!
(Jeep safari is at personal cost)
Next up – something truly special: Thekkady’s world-renowned Elephant Camp. Learn about these majestic creatures, interact with them, and enjoy a short elephant ride that offers a royal feel amidst nature.
(Elephant ride is at personal cost)
By 10:00 AM, we say goodbye to the hills and head to the serene backwaters of Alleppey.
Here, we hop onto a traditional Shikara ride through the lush, palm-fringed canals of Kerala — the perfect way to wind down and take in the soul of God’s Own Country.
(Shikara ride is at personal cost)
After the ride, we head toward Kochi.
For those who opted for the Kochi package – drop-off will be arranged at Kochi.
For those on the Hyderabad return package – we proceed to the station and board the train back to Hyderabad, ending this magical journey with a heart full of memories.
