Important Note:
Andharban, which literally means “Dark Forest,” is one of the most beautiful monsoon treks in the Sahyadris. The trail passes through dense forests, mist-covered valleys, waterfalls, and breathtaking viewpoints.
Trek Difficulty: Easy to Moderate
Trek Distance: Approximately 11 KM
Since this is a monsoon trek, participants can expect rain throughout the trail. The route is relatively easy, and with ample time available, participants can enjoy the scenery, photography opportunities, and the unique monsoon atmosphere.
Savlya Ghat offers stunning panoramic views of the surrounding valleys and mountains. The terrain is generally easy; however, the trail can become slippery during rainfall. Participants are advised to follow instructions carefully and exercise caution while trekking.
Trek Distance: Approximately 5 KM
Upon reaching the endpoint, enjoy the spectacular views of the Sahyadri ranges before descending.

What if Andharban Trek is closed due to heavy rainfall?
In case local authorities restrict access or weather conditions make the trek unsafe, an alternative trek such as Sudhagad or another suitable destination will be selected based on weather conditions, available time, and group pace.
The final decision will be taken by the Trip Coordinator in consultation with the HTC Backend Operations Team, keeping participant safety as the highest priority.

Devkund Falls is highly dependent on weather conditions and may be closed by local authorities without prior notice during periods of heavy rainfall or unsafe conditions. In such situations, access to the falls will not be permitted, and entry decisions made by local authorities will be final.
