DAY1 ARRIVAL → MUNNESHWARAM → SIGIRIYA

WELCOME TO THE LAND OF RAMAYANA.

Arrive at Colombo International Airport.
Begin our Sri Lankan journey with a scenic drive towards Munneshwaram Temple.
Visit Munneshwaram Temple, traditionally associated with Lord Rama’s prayers to Lord Shiva after the battle with Ravana.
Continue towards Sigiriya, enjoying the beautiful countryside and landscapes along the way.
Visit Sigiriya Lion Rock, an iconic ancient rock fortress traditionally associated in some Ramayana narratives with King Ravana’s kingdom.
Explore the surroundings and capture some beautiful photographs.

Day 2 SIGIRIYA → MINNERIYA SAFARI → KANDY

Begin the day with an exciting Minneriya National Park Jeep Safari, where you can explore the natural wilderness and spot wild elephants, birds and other wildlife in their natural habitat.

Proceed towards Kandy, enjoying the scenic countryside and beautiful landscapes along the way.

After breakfast, check out and begin our journey towards Nuwara Eliya, popularly known as Little England of Sri Lanka.
En route, visit Sri Bhakta Hanuman Temple at Ramboda, traditionally believed to be one of the places where Lord Hanuman searched for Goddess Sita.
Continue towards Nuwara Eliya through beautiful tea plantations, misty mountains and scenic waterfalls.
Visit Seetha Amman Temple, traditionally associated with the place where Goddess Sita stayed during her captivity in Lanka.
Explore Hakgala Botanical Garden, traditionally identified with Ashoka Vatika, where Goddess Sita is believed to have spent her days.

Continue with a Colombo City Tour and explore some of the city’s popular landmarks and attractions.
