Wayanad is known for its wildlife reserves. Wayanad is famous for its abundance of rare variety of Flora and Fauna. Wayanad homes a wide range of wild animals like Elephants, Leopards, Bears, etc., Never ending Tea Estates are a treat to watch.
THEYYAM KANNUR
Theyyam in Kannur, Kerala is a vibrant, ancient ritual art form where performers assume the guise of deities and perform dances to appease and worship them. It’s a significant cultural practice, particularly prominent in the Kannur and Kasaragod districts of Kerala, often taking place in temples and shrines.
Highlights –
banasura dam
The dam is located about 21 kilometers from Kalpetta, the district headquarters of Wayanad, and is easily accessible by road.
Apart from its functional importance, Banasura Sagar Dam is a popular tourist destination due to its scenic beauty and recreational opportunities.
The reservoir formed by the dam is surrounded by hills and forests, making it a picturesque location for boating and other water-based activities.
Trekking and camping are also popular in the surrounding hills.
-900 kandi(glass bridge )
The glass bridge near Chembra Peak is a popular tourist attraction located in Wayanad district of Kerala, India.
It is officially known as the “Skywalk” and is situated at an altitude of around 2,100 meters above sea level, it is a relatively new attraction and has gained popularity in recent years.
It offers a unique experience for adventure seekers and nature lovers who want to explore the beauty of Wayanad from a different perspective.

Ziplining in tea estates can be an excellent way to experience the breathtaking scenery and natural beauty of the area.
You can glide through the tea gardens and forests, enjoying the lush greenery, scenic views, and fresh air.
Additionally, it can also be a great way to get your adrenaline pumping as you zip down the cable at high speeds.

Please understand that Theyyam performances follow traditional temple calendars, and the schedule may vary each week. Sometimes they happen early morning, sometimes midnight, depending on the ritual.
As this trip is centered around experiencing Theyyam, our priority will always be to align with the live Theyyam timings.

● Alcohol consumption/ smoking tobacco/ weed is strictly prohibited during Entire EVENT . Will be expelled from the event If found with consumption.
● Please do not litter any plastic (biscuit pack covers, candy wrappers, etc.). We commit to keeping our events pollute free.
● Hyderabad Trekking Company has a right to cancel the participant slot.
● Please do not cause delay and cause inconvenience for others and impact the schedule.
● Below 18 must take the consent of the parents to participate.
● Participants will be notified prior to when the itinerary is modified/ event get canceled due to any unforeseen circumstances.
● If there is an unexpected change in weather during the event, the organizer has the right to withdraw/ retreat.
● Participants should coordinate, disciplined and align together as a team during the event.
● Please do not expect luxury facilities and appreciate being cooperative with fellow Participants
● Though we assure safety as a top priority, Event Organizers are not responsible for any severe injuries or fatal events.
● No refund will be provided if the participant doesn’t show up on the day of the event.
